  • Love the place been coming here since they opened. New staff not understanding service though and it has become slow. Love Guru but have given up coz every time it has sand. Besides that I always come back to support with other dishes. Also not even one staff had mask on with all Covid compliance in all restaurants

  • If you’re looking for an authentic African restaurant in Cape Town, I would 100% recommend Pahari. It’s a hidden gem in Salt River and well worth visiting. The food is delicious, with a good variety of mains, sides and set menus. We had a short wait time for our table of 7. Service was flawless, and we left with very full stomachs. I would come back again!

  • Delish! don't miss this little gem if you're Salt River. Laid-back atmosphere with books to browse while you wait on your order. Madam behind the counter was pleasant. It would be wise to call in your order for takeaway and the prices are more than reasonable. I would eat/order from here every day if I lived in the area. Luckily, I was right across the street during my visit. My mouth is watering...

  • We had a great evening cooking very traditional african cousine all by our self. Very well structured, guided and such a lot of background information about the history, the ingredients and the food overall. Thank you very much for hosting us and we hope to come back one day!

  • The class was great and we were able to learn not only about food, but about South African culture and African culture as a whole. Time really flew by and we were very happy to have the opportunity to meet these hosts.

  • By far the best shakalaka we’ve ever had. This cute lil Zimbabwean spot serves up amazing food, including sabza and pap. While you wait, there are bookshelves and lots of art to peruse - all for sale as well! Highly recommend!
